GEC provides recreation planning services, from small, site-specific projects to very large, statewide planning efforts.  Our goal is to help communities foster and develop recreation resources while balancing other land uses important to growing populations.  In short, we believe that recreation lands, whether urban or rural, must be community-oriented, balanced, dynamic and must be part of a system that is well-formulated to meet the demands of people and the environment.
