Municipal GIS Solutions can involve as little as one or two layers for a single department or multiple layers being administered by a variety of users in different departments through an enterprise system. GEC has worked with clients locally and across the nation to develop GIS solutions to meet their needs. On a local level, these have included assessors and clerks-of-court, planning and public works departments, utilities including water, sewer and electrical systems, and communications. Military reservations function much as a municipality and GEC has applied what it has learned in providing GIS services to the military to its local municipal clients as well.
