Project Summary:
Construction on the North Shore Transportation and Drainage Improvement project for the Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission was recently completed. The project consisted of improved traffic flow at the North Causeway Approach and Florida Street intersection, widening the north approach bridges, and drainage improvements for the sluggish Chinchuba Bayou at the north and west approach roads.
The project was designed through a joint effort between GEC and KLL, with GEC responsible for traffic, roadway and bridge widening plans and KLL responsible for drainage improvement plans. The general contractor on the project was Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC.
