Johnny Bradberry, former Executive Assistant to the Governor for Coastal Activities and Chairman of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA), will assume the duties of President effective January 4, 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from LSU. He is a native of Grand Isle, Louisiana and currently resides in Baton Rouge.
His extensive experience encompasses twenty-seven years with ConocoPhillips Company, Department of Transportation and Development as Secretary and Chief Operating Officer of TOPCOR Companies and President-TOPCOR Services. He also worked as Vice-President, Business Development of Volkert, Inc.
GEC continues with the strategic plan of building trusted client relationships and expanding service offerings. Johnny Bradberry’s experience with the Petroleum Industry, LaDOTD, CPRA, Hurricane Response, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and in the private sector engineering, will add another dimension to GEC’s opportunities and schedule of service areas. He will replace current acting President; Verdi Adam as President.
