Kevin P. Landreneau attended and graduated from Louisiana State University in 1986 with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and received his Juris Doctor degree from LSU Law Center in 1991, where he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. He authored and was published while a member of the Louisiana Law Review.
Landreneau practiced with a major Dallas, Texas law firm before returning to practice in Louisiana and is presently admitted to both the Louisiana and Texas Bar, all Louisiana state courts as well as U.S. Court of Appeal– Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts in the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He was a partner at Seale & Ross, APLC where he practiced for over 20 years in the areas of construction law, and commercial and business law.
Landreneau is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Baton Rouge Bar Association and Louisiana Associated General Contractors. He has been published and provided seminars on Construction Law Issues and Insurance Law Issues.
Landreneau has extensive experience in jury and judge trials of complex cases in federal and state courts involving multimillion dollar claims. He has represented construction clients including engineers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in the prosecution and defense of multimillion dollar construction claims and on multimillion construction contracts and projects. Landreneau has also served as a mediator and arbitrator in both complex and simple construction and commercial claims.
Landreneau has assisted clients including business and public owners, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers with negotiating and drafting contracts. He has represented clients in building construction claims, road construction claims, and residential construction claims.
Landreneau currently serves as G.E.C., Inc.’s General Counsel.
