Mr. Heymann has been a Civil Engineer for over 20 years and is responsible for leading GEC’s Greater New Orleans Area Operations. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC)
In his role as Vice President, Mr. Heymann is responsible for the design and oversight of roadway projects, drainage projects, water distribution projects, sewer system projects, and construction projects. His experience includes the development of cost estimates, quantity calculations, drainage design, geometric design, erosion control, maintenance-of-traffic, grading plans, preparation of construction documents, and construction management. His past experience in leadership roles include managing client relations, mentoring, recruitment, operations, and business development. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the design and construction of replacing aging infrastructure in historic urban environments such as the French Quarter of New Orleans.
His hobbies include golf, traveling, and fishing. His wife, son, and daughter are his passions. Frequent activities include attending his children’s extracurricular activities, including music events with his daughter and his son’s high school football games.
Mr. Heymann is a licensed professional civil engineer in Louisiana and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Alabama.
